What Is The Supported Lodgings Scheme?
The scheme is a project that offers safe accommodation short or long term to young vulnerable people aged 16-22.
We want to meet people with a spare room in their home, who would be interested in helping a young person to develop their life skills.
You the Provider would assist in helping a young person to gain skills in:
- Budgeting
- Health and Welfare
- Cooking
- Food Preparation
- Minor Household Maintenance
- Completing forms
- Hygiene
What will I be offered as a Provider?
- An introduction to the "Supported Lodgings Scheme"
- Appropriate training
- A weekly amount for providing the accommodation
- Ongoing support from a skilled co ordinator
- Introduction to new tenants.
