5K FUN RUN 2007
CHARITY 3 MILE FUN RUN
Sorry,
but due to unforeseen circumstances a decision has been made to postpone the fun run in September. Can you please advise any family or friends that were interested of the postponement. We are looking to re arrange for early 2008.
Competition
DESIGN THE CHARITY A "T-SHIRT"
Have you got the flare, creativity and talent to design a fun,
colourful and attractive t-shirt for openingdoors? You don't
have to be an artist, its all about having fun and coming up
with a design that is different and stands out from the rest.
The t-shirt will be a plain white background and you will be designing the front and the back with anything you like. The judges will be looking for fun, colour and orginality.
The winner of the competition will be presented with some excellent prizes, publicity from the Warrington Guardian and your design printed on thousands of new tshirts to be sold and help raise funds for the charity.
Just think it could be your 'T-shirt' people are wearing! So get cracking on that design!
The closing date for the competition will be Friday 31st August 2007. Plenty of time to come up with a great design.
All designs to be either emailed to info@openingdoorsnorthwest.co.uk or post to our address on the contacts page.
All funds raised will help the charity to continue working with homeless and vulnerable people within the Northwest.
Good luck and have fun!

Appealing to you!
So Much More Than Just a Room...
openingdoors helps approximately 47 people a day 365 days a year. Last year we accommodated approximately 200 young people in our hostels, 2,965 homeless people at our Night Shelter and provided advice and support to 292 people through our "Drop in" Centre.
Homeless people are not just given a bed for the night. The charity supports the service user with education and employment opportunities, training, interview skills, CV writing, life skills and healthy eating, home maintenance and budgeting.
We are appealing to you for help. Make a difference to the life of a homeless and vulnerable person.
PLEASE SUPPORT A HOMELESS PERSON AND DIG DEEP INTO YOUR POCKETS
By donating £3.48 (a small fraction of the cost) you will be helping
a homeless person, giving them “more than just a room.” Send
your donations to openingdoors (northwest) limited, The
Gateway, 89 Sankey Street, Warrington, WA1 1SR.
